New Year in Innsbruck

New Year in Innsbruck, where to stay and really get something for the money? Hotel Helga of course.
This year we had guests staying all over the world and lots of fun.
We started meeting up in the traditional cellar bar.
We had a fireworks special for children at 09:00 pm and another firework, but bigger, for the "adults". Special effects made by the profesionals and the guests own firecracker, which were handed out before, made standing in the crowed more interesting. The big special firecrackers where handled, of course, with care.
After everybody really enjoyed the 10 pm action we were getting ready to go into Innsbruck oldtown which is only 10 minutes per bus.
In town we got all a good spot to watch the huge firework.
First they started 10 minutes fireworks on the Seegrube, which is the nearest skiarea above Innsbruck. http://www.nordkette.com/en/top/home.html
After that, the Innsbruck Fireworks started and amazed us as every year. All we heard is the loud "bangs" from the pyrotechnics and the "woow", "aaaahh" "coool" from the people around us.
Music started and made us warmed up again. the Traditional Viennese Waltz made us swing around and act like we could dance as profesional.
around 1.30 we are trying to get all the guests home and get warmed up in our 40°C jacuzzi.
Mostly at 3 everybody goes to bed with a big smile on their faces after those impressions about Innsbruck. Also we are happy to made our guests happy.
